I understand that you are disappointed and many of us are. But have some dignity and honour instead of filling up the forums with garbage. Pick yourself and carry on. It's not the end of the world or life.

Rejected as well, but it's fine.

Best of luck to the successful applicants and to the unsuccessful ones, continue to work hard in your undergraduate studies, as this shouldn't deter you from pursuing your future endeavours.

Hello, I did not apply to Health Science because I knew I had no chance but I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to ALL that got into Health Science AND to those who applied but didn't get in.
If you got in, I bow down to you, you are a-m-a-z-i-n-g x10000000.

If you didn't get in, you're still amazing. By having the potential to get over 90% and writing a successful Supplementary Form, you're already a winner and will be successful regardless of the program. Of course it's natural to feel upset but remember, keep your head held high! The best is still to come AND you get to join me in the Kinesiology or Life Sci program. :)

Sorry but looking at your signature your better off than fine. You got into IVEY US schools which is no smaller a feat than to get into Health Sci, probably even more difficult. Good luck to you sir!

Congrats class of 2016!

To the unsuccessful applicants: health sci isn't the be all and end all of science programs. Your university experience is what YOU make of it, and I'm sure you guys will have a great time wherever you decide to go. Getting rejected sucks but it may turn out to be a good thing!

Anyway, out of curiosity any regrets?
Well I wished I knew more about the program before I accepted my offer. Personally, I don't like writing reflections, journals ,essays or doing debates and discussions because marking in these classes tend to be subjective. You may know that GPA is very important for med school, and that for most people in BHSc, their lowest marks will be in Health Science classes because of their subjective nature. Sure you may not have tests or exams, but the subjective nature is just off-putting to someone like me. I took many science and math courses this year that are considered "hard" by many. But they were so much fairer than my Health Sci classes because the mark you get is what you earn not what someone thinks you deserve. Also you will get told repeatedly that "marks don't matter" which is just false and misleading. Anyways, I'll end my mini rant here. Don't be discouraged by what I said. Just like there are cons, there are many pros to the program. The biggest of which is the interaction. You will never get to be so close with faculty and so close with peers (due to lots of group work). Plus you will get many, many unique opportunities. So as long as you have an open mind, it's a great place to be.

I think you just talked me out of HSci :(

@Aeria, thanks for sharing with us how it is really like in HSci. I don't feel too bad now that I am rejected. The subjectiveness would really kill me anyway.
Good luck and congrates to all who got in.

You're welcome and to everyone else who didn't get an offer, do not feel bad at all. This is far from a perfect program and your rejection might actually turn out to be a good thing. As long as you are a motivated individual, you can reach the same end goal, regardless of the path! :)
