I'm a graduating IB student that got into McGill for a BSc majoring in Anatomy and Cell Biology, and has anyone else figured out the course selection? It's so confusing!
I took HL Bio, Chem and Math and I know that I get exempted from having to take first year Bio, Chem and Calculus 1, but do we still need to take Calculus 2? It's not a prerequisites for the courses I need to take in my major but it's part of the Freshman program, and I know people told me that the courses in that program are compulsory.
Also do I have to take ANAT 261, and the two Mammalian Physiology courses (PHGY 209/210)? I know those are all courses that most Anat + Cell Bio students take in their U1 year, and I think I'm entering U1, but if I take those, I won't have enough room.
Please help! I'm so confused DX

Assuming you get the necessary scores, you won't be entering as U0, but as U1. That means none of the Freshman requirements apply to you.
Again, assuming you enter as U1, you must take ANAT 261 next year. However, I don't see anything that says you must take the two physiology courses in U1. If you're still confused about anything, you should contact a departmental advisor.

Definitely contact an advisor at McGill. They have people who are paid to help students with course planning.

If you're still confused about anything, you should contact a departmental advisor. Ironically, it was the faculty advisor that confused me in the first place. I called them up about 2 weeks ago and they were the one that told me I had to take the Freshman courses. Anyway, a friend of mine went asking around past McGill students and they said the same thing as you :) So I guess that's solved. Thanks!

Did you talk to faculty advisor or a department/program advisor? The former would automatically assume you are U0 and tell you to do the Freshman requirements, since usually only students entering U0 contact them. If you had stated that you were entering U1, they should have referred you to a departmental/program advisor, which is what I recommended above.
