I applied in May, sent everything in, and it still says "your application is being processed. Come back at the end of July" or something like that. Is this normal for everyone? p.s. I know it's different this year, so should I expect the funds to be automatically deposited into my bank account right after it processes? Applied To:
Queen's - Arts and Science (Accepted!) McMaster - Humanities (Accepted!) Carleton - Journalism (Accepted!)

Yes, it will, but maybe only a few hundred dollars.

Have you read this thread? Yes, it's the same for everyone. This Liberal government is bloated and inefficient beyond all belief. It's ridiculous. Just a couple of questions:
1. I just submitted my online application and mailed in my declaration pages about a few days ago. Does this mean I won't be getting my OSAP funding until the end of September / around October?
2. I have made a mistake with the amount I put in the section that asks for the "return trip costs" on my online application. I will be editing that part tonight, but does that mean I'll have to re-print the declaration pages (that I already mailed in) and call the Student Aid / Financial Office at my university to tell them about this?
Thanks in advance. :)

Hi. I checked my staus today and they've finally updated that they have the MFSAA document. However, the documents I sent to my financial I'd office are not showing. Should I call my financial aid office, or should I wait till the end of July as it says in the status? Has anyone else had this same issue?

I apologize in advance if this questions has been asked before. I looked through the first 5 pages and did not see anything close to my question....
When I did the OSAP aid estimator for 2012/2013 it gave me an estimated loan of $4620. But today my application was processed and according to OSAP I have adequate funds to cover my expenses. Does anyone have any idea why this happened? If anyone has had this happen to them, were you able to successfully appeal?
I have contacted my financial aid office and they were of little help, the best she could come up with is "an estimate is just that, an estimate" Obviously I realize that the estimate amount could have been off, but I don't understand why it is $0. I am married, no dependents.
Thank You for your help :)

Guess I can afford to go to university after all (OSAP estimate + actual fees due seemed borderline). :P University of Guelph Software Engineering, 2016

With OSAP being broken up into 2 parts (60/40) does the first part go to the entire years tuition or just the first semester?
