Social life at Waterloo - Does it exist? Options

What's your idea of social life? The campus bar (Bomber) isn't bad, and they've got an okay selection of nightclubs/bars around campus (Revolution, Caesar's, Chainsaw, Phil's and Cameo are the ones I've been to). I don't actually attend Loo though so don't know about on campus social events. People at every school party, they just might not party as much as Queen's/Western, or because sports isn't a huge deal at Loo, homecoming isn't as big of a thing.

I went to Laurier, and I heard of/saw plenty of UW students come to our campus for events/parties, because we're definitely the party school between the two of them. Like you said though, there are tons of bars and clubs in the area, so there's always something to do, even if you have to leave campus to do so. Phil's is huge with the student population, even if it's so dirty there (hence the nickname Dirty Phil's) that they probably clean up with a shovel rather than a broom...
June 2008: Graduated from high school
Sept. 2008: Started Near Eastern Archaeology at Wilfrid Laurier University
Jan. 2009: Switched to North American Historical Industrial Archaeology
Sept. 2009: Switched to Sociology
April 2010: Dropped out and moved to England to work for a year
Sept. 2011: Hopefully attending college for social service worker
