I've heard this is true and the campus seems to reflect it.

True/false? Why?

Waterloo lacks girls. Girls have spirit. Therefore, Waterloo lacks spirit.

I don't know what you mean by 'spirit'. Do you mean showing up to and supporting the home team at games? Or do you mean getting involved in extra-curriculars (ie. not studying)?

It's true, I live in Waterloo. The difference between Waterloo and Laurier is crazy!
Waterloo is flooded with asians. The whole area is covered in asians.
Their lack of school spirit (at least this year) could also be because their football program was cancelled for this year, but I think it's mostly due to their massive asian population.

Riiiight I forgot about the football thing!

And I know it's true about the asians. I just didn't want it to sound bad.

My cousin went to Waterloo and the entire floor of her res was asian. She never got invited to things, and one girl once apologized to her saying it was because she was white, and that the asians needed "to stick together."

I'm not trying to hate on asians or anything :p I just think it can be unfortunate when people are excluded like that.

Yeah, but you wouldn't say something like 'Guelph is "too white"'. That article was quite racist imo.....even if they do study all the time why did the author have to hate on them? how many people in the media hate on the jocks? or the preps?
