Hey guys, i really need a answer for this question. I have a Final mark of 90.6% average for my top 6. I am planning to apply for sept 2013. Do i need to upgrade my final mark of 90.6% or Am i good to go?? and will i get my early and final acceptance faster then the people who are submitting their marks?

If you have UNBELIEVABLE ECs and can write great essays, you might get in with this average. However, it is pretty low otherwise for this program.

Hey that's not true lol don't scare the guy ~

My ECs and Essays were pretty decent, but of course i put alot of effort in writing it~

however it was certainly not my best essay and i was worried that i might not get in.

i had 90.5% - ish average for my top 6 at the time and i got accepted to Schulich iBBA

at near the end of April, which is the first round after the early acceptances in

March. People always say you have to have 92%+ average and above for schulich but i

don't think that is true~ as long as your top 6 avg is above 90% with decent SAFs,

i think your chances are good.

then again ~ 92+ avg would be in the safe zone
after all its schulich o_o~

i have a question...so since we have to decide by june 1st...what exactly do we have to do to ensure weve accepted our offer properly. i know we have to accept through both ouac and yorkumyfile..then book an appointment through myfile...and i believe thats it? is there any deposit or any other deadlines we have to meet before june 1st?

That's all you have to do by June 1st.
PM if you have any questions with regards to school, university, jobs, etc. I am glad to help out and share what I know.

ok so far, still no decision

so i'm planning to accept Western BMOS on 29th

btw,

According to what my friend in Schulich said, (He's in BBA)

"there will be offers during June if you still haven't got it

and that's after the deadline, so it's called a "Late Offer"

it only gives you only one week to choose, and since it's the late offer,

you don't have to cancel your prior offer you accepted by calling the admissions office.

You just have to log on to OUAC, and accept the late offer, and the prior offer

(Western BMOS in my case) will be canceled automatically. I got an offer in June 14th,

and that's exactly what i did."

Is this true? :) I'm still a bit worried LOL

I know there is an option like that. However, the exact details could be different. :)

How come I was not eligible at this time for the Schulich BBA program with a 91.5 average and some people got accepted with a 91 average?

Hey so I got accepted to the Schulich iBBA program

and it says I have to call in to book a language assessment before enrolling into my language course

could someone please tell me what the language assessment is about? What happens during the assessment? do I get tested on the language I chose to pursue?

and can you only pursue a language that you are familiar with?
or can you only pursue a language that you are unfamiliar with?

You just contact the language faculty you want to study in and book an appointment.
Its a multiple choice test (about 30 hr long) that tests your aptitude in the language and ranks your skills as beginner intermediate and advanced.
You can take a language you already know, but don't play up your skills because then you will be placed in a higher level. I didn't study or try too hard and got intermediate level for French.
