It is neither a valid nor a normal question. Anyone going to university should be clever enough to realise that new people join the uni each year and therefore it is entirely random. Also the fact that you've provided a list like you've been to each one checking out the girls like some campus stalker is kinda worrying...

You're an idiot. Have you ever taken a mathematics or data analysis course? Ever heard of a term called "trends"? If we go along your logic then there's no point in analyzing any sort of previously collected data or making predictions off of it, because the things that happen in the future "are completely random!!!" It doesn't matter if in the past 25 years couples have on average 2.3 children because one day people might just decide not to have any children and the human race will die off. Obviously the current trend of large parts of UW being comprised of students of Asian descent means nothing in predicting the next year's generation of new students, because "it's completely random!!!"

You make arts students look bad. Stop being a cocky jacksh*t and if you don't have anything to contribute towards a thread written by someone asking a harmless question that doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever, go somewhere else where you contributions are appreciated. Your judgements aren't needed here.`

I'm sure the irony of you calling someone else a "cocky jacksh*t" and "an idiot" while writing the above post has entirely escaped you.

If you really want to talk about regressions and statistical rigour, should I point out how you can't establish co-variance with a sample of a dozen students anecdotally spouting their thoughts? How the concept of "beauty" is without a quantifiable indicator in this discussion? How massive selection bias is introduced by relying on people's memories or impressions of student attractiveness? How you don't even have a uniform instrument for quantifying subject responses? How the margin of error in a small-n sample such as this makes the results statistically insignificant?

There are intelligent and humble people in the world. Then there are, less fortunately, intelligent but arrogant, condescending individuals, who receive attention due to the strength of her thoughts rather than the strength of her personality.

And then there are just pricks.

Ahhh where to begin with this sad attempt... You seem fairly lost; I shall therefore break things down into easy to absorb points for your benefit.

1. No "data" has been collected by anyone on this thread concerning "hot girls" at any school. People are spewing a combination of rumour, misinformation, guesswork and lies. Thus, you're entire opening sentences are void.
2. "hot girls" are not quantifiable as they are an entirely subjective entity, unlike children in your example. Not sure what you were trying to achieve with that, but it didn't work.
3. Yes, it is random, you're use of sarcastic quotation marks are therefore not needed and make you seem even more simple.
4. Pot. Kettle. Black. I think you will find that you have written a post entirely contradicting your conclusion. Have a re-read, see if you can spot your mistake.

Try harder please.

It would be great if I didn't have to sacrifice a fun social life for a good Mathematics/Computer Science education. People going into medicine have it good, great programs at Western and McMaster with fun people everywhere.

For people going to Waterloo ... why is there no soul or spirit? Even some professors have told me how depressing it is sometimes. Let there be liiiifee.

I don't get why people get so worked up...
If he's looking for hot girls, let him look for them.
If you don't like it, then just don't help him.
And this is a forum meant to help each other, not to swear at and argue like that. If you want to do that, take it elsewhere.

Hi, I agree with the same. There are different people around to look on hot girls. But never hurt any body's feelings.
