Is it just for first year students that are living in residence or is there a separate one for the faculties/departments? Applied To:

Welcome week is open to all first year students, but different events are planned for every res as well as off campus students. Most of the events will be public (for all 1st years), some will be specific to your res/off campus, and there is 1 day devoted to your specific faculty. It's supposed to be tons of fun with concerts and carnivals and bed races at Mac, so I recommend you participate. UWO: Nursing Class of 2016!

There's both. Several days will be devoted to your rez (with competitions between residences to see who wins the Welcome Week cup), there's one faculty day that you spend with the people in your program (as well as a Spirit Cup to be won). If you're not living on rez, there are also SOCS (society of off-campus students) events throughout the week.
