Ryerson Fashion Communication/Design 2012 Options

I just wanted to know who got accepted in either Fashion Design or communication at Ryerson this year. Also anyone that's currently in Fashion Communication I wanted to know how's the program.

What is Fashion communication? Is it different from fashion design? Is it a very good career if a person likes fashion and business ?

Fashion communication is what I say as the "behind the scenes" of the fashion world basically the promotional part. You can go into fashion journalism, fashion advertisement, fashion business, fashion photography etc. if you look at all the things I listed you notice they all have to do with a way of "communicating" fashion to the world. That's basically what I think it is. I prefer this just because I love fashion and being artsie plus I love business

I know many first years (now second years) that are in this program, in first year both the fashion design and communications all take the same courses. So if you have never sewed before, be prepared to. I also heard that first year design/communications is really tough, so be prepared for long hours, but if your really committed you should do great.
