I applied to BA in Social Work at Carleton and I got an alternate offer of BA Honours in Psychology. Is this the final decision on behalf of the university? Or is there a possibility that I could still get on a wait list or something? I really want a BA in Social Work.

For Guelph, they said that they'd re-assess your "first choice" after midterm marks are received. University of Guelph

First semester (mixed w/ grade 11 marks) average: low-mid 80s
Second semester midterm average: 81.33%

My friend got an alternate offer from York a while ago, but got her original choice program offer (Schulich business) after her midterms went in University of Waterloo '17

I'm also wondering if I'll be put on a wait list or something for my first choice. I emailed the school yesterday but no answer as of yet.
