I got accepted to the Seneca/York RN program which I accepted, but just got notification that I am wait listed for the Ryerson RN program. I need some help in deciding what I should do.

I have heard great things about both programs! Think about location, would you prefer downtown Toronto (Ryerson) or York which is an hour away by public transit? Maybe that will help? Applied! York-Kinesiology (BA) (Accepted!) York-Fine Arts, Studio Art (Accepted!) University of Toronto-Visual Studies

Well this is a no brainer! Obviously you HAVE to accept at York/Seneca, because that is your only option that is guaranteed (I'm assuming unless you have others you didn't mention). Go through the motions and get ready to attend there, but try to hold off on giving them money. If you are accepted later into Ryerson (which I think you have a good chance to - my friend got into med school 2 weeks after being waitlisted), and Ryerson is your 1st choice, then go for it! Accepting at York/Seneca will not affect your application to Ryerson. Even if you end up paying some money to York, it will be worth it in the long run right? You will save more money by going local. Plus there are more options for placements and just plain fun in toronto. UWO: Nursing Class of 2016!
