Hi i was wondering if the saying "Mcmaster is a brown people school is true?" I'm not being racist or anything, but I was wondering if that's true (esp for life science program) since I wouldn't want to be a minority either (im white) . Also what is the social scene like at mac?

I don't think it's a brown school and I've visited the campus twice. From what I see, more than half is white people and the rest are asian/brown. If you're talking about the Life Science program, it's probably going to be about 1/3 white, 1/3 brown and 1/3 asian(at least from what I've seen when I went to May@Mac). You are technically a minority but that's probably the most diverse program in all of Mac which is awesome.
Where I go to school now is a brown school, about 50% brown people lol.

I have no idea what the social life is like, I really want to know too!

I know of 1 that's going and he's someone that goes to my friend's school, I don't know him personally.

Just as an aside, why does it matter if the school has a lot of people your ethnicity/race? Isn't it the best if it's all mixed?

haha yeah its definitively good if its mixed! i just didn't want to go to a school that is mostly one racial background, (just like how queens is considered "all white") :)

I'd say Mac is 50% white, 50% other (mostly Indian/Asian).
