My final admission average is going to be 69.8% and I need a minimum of 70% of my top 6.
I slacked off and my average went down to 69.8% :(
Will Carleton revoke my offer? The admissions office isn't replying to my email and I called and the person speaking to me was very rude when I asked if they round for the final admission averages and said no.

I'm worried!! I don't know what to do??? Will they round a 69.8% to a 70? It's only 0.2 percent lol.

HELP?

Well, that person said no, so either call them back (hope for a different person), or cross your fingers. As for emails, Carleton takes a few days to get back if you don't email someone specifically (i.e. a professor, but that wouldn't help you much).

If they have 4 spots to fill, no one else has a 70% average, and 4 people have a 69.9% average, those 4 people will likely get the spots before you. That 0.2 could make the difference.

Lol no. The person can have either 69.8 or 70.0, since the averages are all multiples of 1/6.

You do realize that was simply an example (so just say that 4 people have a 70% average then)? I also wrote that at 11PM after my graduation ceremony, so logic wasn't necessarily present.

If there are 4 spots left, but 8 people have an average 70 or higher, all 8 of them will get in, since all of these people already got their acceptances and just need to meet their condition (hence spots left isn't really too applicable).

Don't stress. They will not revoke you. They have something called "probation" meaning they sympathize on your average and will allow you to keep your spot.
