hello, i'm going to be entering my first year of University doing a bachelors of science specializing in biochemistry. And my friend is going to attend U of T doing a bachelors degree in economics. I know right after my 4 years I have to do something else to get a job, I want to be a pharmacist, but idk any pharmacy school in Ontario. Does U of T have a pharmacy school for graduate studies? And what can you do with a bachelors degree in economics? or do you have to do graduate studies as well to get a job?

U of T and Waterloo both have pharm schools. Pharmacy is not grad school though, you don't have to have a Bachelor's degree to gain admission. I'm pretty sure for both UW and U of T, you can get into their pharm schools with as little as 2 years of undergrad. So if I do two years undergrad of biochem at the university I'm going to, then transfer/apply to U of T after second year, I can do a bachelor of pharmacy degree there? :s If so how long is it, is just two more years (two years at the university I'm going to then afterwards two years at u of T)? and what kind of degree do I get after, bachelors? And can I work in a pharmaceutical clinic afterwards, or something to that effect or do I have to do the doctor of pharmacy thing? ps, sorry my english is pretty terrible...

All of that information is available online. Look up the pharmacy program at U of T (and at the other universities that offer pharmacy programs) and you will see exactly what their requirements are, and how long the program lasts. Getting into pharmacy is very competitive, and you need excellent grades in addition to experience working with a pharmacist or in a pharmacy (as a volunteer or as actual employment) and I believe you also need the PCAT, but I'm not sure. So check the universities' web sites, they will have all the information you need. University of Guelph - Applied Human Nutrition 2014 - Scholarship RecipientHave questions? Hypothetically yes, but pharmacy is very competitive these days so a lot of people don't get in after 2 years. I'm pretty sure pharmacy is a 4 year program, and you have a Bachelor's degree afterwards, hence it is an undergrad program. You don't have to do a PharmD degree afterwards, a BScPharm is enough to be able to practice as a pharmacist.
