top 6 : 85.5 I'm not sure, but I think so. Someone on this forum was waitlisted for the main site with an 83%. I am not sure what their cutoff is. UWO: Nursing Class of 2016!

Hey, I applied to the BscN Nursing program at UOIT and I haven't gotten an offer yet. My average is a 70.6% and I'm wondering if there is still a chance for me to get accepted. And also i've heard of people getting accepted after May 29th and the guidance had told me that May 29th is the last date to know if im accepted or rejected to the program. So would that mean I will get rejected? what if my June marks are better? Also, does the university look at the June marks for acceptances? UHH WHAT DO I DO?

Hey, not to discourage you but I had spoken with the admissions director and they had said their cut off was 85%. Last year I was wait-listed with an 80% average and I just received a conditional acceptance with an 88%. I would encourage you to talk to TARA BAILEY-TAYLOR, who is in charge of nursing admissions at UOIT to see what she suggests. She is super nice and will help you out, as you do have to inform them that you are upgrading your marks. I also believe it is all dependent on the number of applicants as well as the number of students who have accepted. Hope this help, msg me if you have any questions!

Hey everyone!
I've applied to three collab programs for Nursing: Western/Fanshawe, Ryerson/George Brown, and York/Seneca. So far I've been accepted to all of them except Western/Fanshawe. Apparently I won't hear until between May 14-29th to see if I get accepted or rejected! But my question is, what math do you need for the Western/Fanshawe collab program? I thought they would accept any grade 12 university math, but I checked on their website a few weeks ago and apparently you need either grade 11 functions or the grade 11 mixed math. My mixed math mark wasn't great, but I got an 80 in data management this year. Does anyone know if they would look at that mark instead of the mixed math mark?

If you have a gr. 12 math mark that is better than your gr. 11 mark, I think they will take that. My gr. 12 math mark was better than my gr. 11 one, and they must have used the gr. 12 one cuz I was accepted to both the Fanshawe and Main site in early march. UWO: Nursing Class of 2016!

I just got an email from Tara myself after emailing my concerns of not hearing anything yet. She said they are currently sending out offers to applicants with a minimum of 85% average. Since I have a 83.25% I have to make sure I get all my upgrading marks in as soon as possible. Hopefully! this means that we still have a chance to upgrade our marks because she never said I was officially disqualified yet. I know I should bother calling the other schools, but UOIT is my first choice. I spoke to a nurse manager yesterday at work and she told me that the majority of students they hire are either from Ryerson, GB/Ryerson or UOIT. She was explaining how the students are just so informed, show dedication and know what they are doing. University of Ontario Institute of Technology: Bachelors of Science in Nursing(hons)

People have gotten wait listed at Ryerson with 83 averages. Western has a cut off from last year of 87.5 while Mac cuts off at around 89.
