How Do I Choose a University if I Want to Major in Psychology?

I think you can create a good undergraduate experience in psychology at just about any Canadian university. Now, if you were in the United States, I would caution that the range in university quality there is enormous, and there are some places called “universities” that are not worthy of the name. In Canada, there’s lots of diversity in the university experience, but nothing close to the US extreme in quality. Look for the best match with your needs and interests. What’s most important is what you do with the university experience once you get there. By becoming fully engaged as an active learner and as an active member of the psychology and broader university community, you can create a fine experience at many, many different schools.
